Rear Shock - Old Gary Fisher

768 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  4000FeetHigh
I have an old Gary Fisher that I use as my backup bike and the rear shock has given out. It is a Rock Shox coil-over type (1.5" x 750) with a handlebar lockout.

I measured it with the tension off the coil and it appears to be 6.75" eye-to-eye, but I can't find any modern shocks with this length. Does anyone know what might fit? Should I go down to a 6.5" or up to a 7"?

I forget what model Fisher it is asI stripped all the paint off of it a while back. I need to get the "Aluminium Monster" back on the trails, so any help would be appreciated.
