Is the 150mm thru axel on a Demo9, going to be noticably stiffer than the 135 that comes on the Demo8?

I ride a Demo9, and am thinking of trying out the 8, however I dont want a rear end that moves around on me. The bike will mostly be ridden in the Whistler bike park, especially on Garbonzo. I am 6'4 and weigh about 220.

Personally I would stick to the 150mm thru-axle of the Demo9. Thru-axles are much stiffer than QR rear end and even though the Demo8 uses a bolt on axle it's still a 10mm and not hardly as stiff as a 12 or 15mm thru axle.

IMO the 135mm QR rear end on the Demo8 was a bad move. How many other quality pro level DH race bikes come with a 135 QR rear end these days??? Bad move Spec, bad!!!
