Anyone used them to tie a bike onto your roof rack? I usually put my bike in the back of my car, but I'm going on vacation and won't have room for it.
I thought if I stood it up, I could put one strap around each side of the handlebars and one holding the rear rim down.
Any experience doing something like that?

Well, just incase anyone was wondering, it seemed like it would work, but for one, the front wheel was right above my sunroof, and was pushing down on it, creating a gap. And two, as i was taking it down, I loosened the left strap, and tilted the bike over to the right a little so when i removed the right strap it wouldn't tip over. When I removed the right strap, somehow the bike still tipped over, (mabey a small wind? or evil forces pushing on my bike) and put a big dent in my rear door and somehow managed to bend the rim a little!!! ****!!! I won't do that again.
