Racer-X with costume jewelry

Help! My wife's decorating her Racer-X with costume jewelry! She's got this beautiful Racer-X - all shiney silver and just a purdy as can be. A real fine race horse that Racer-X.

I came home from work yesterday and I noticed what looked like rivets all over it. Upon closer inspection I determined that the rivets were, in fact, little stick-on costume jewels - all multi-colored and sparkly and twinkly and whatnot... Looks kinda like it ran into a rhinestone cowboy on the way to the singletrack.

So being that I likes my bikes plain, should I be all worried and whatnot? After all, my favorite it my black 1x1 that I can touch up with a Sharpee. Is she going to start putting feathers and pinwheels and streamers on it and giving a name like "Rainbow Speedprincess" and talking to it like it's a new puppy? This is kinda freaking me out...

I've heard you can get little barbie size tiaras that go really good on a headset.

Maybe she needs some streamers?

I have a secret fascination with steamers.

I have a pair stashed away in the utility room; still in the original packaging.
Haven't gotten up the nerve to put them on my bike.

The Rhinestone Titus

Here are the stays. Sorry for all the glare - it's just so darned silver. I couldn't get quality pics of the rest of the bike cos of all that glare.

Decals?

Love those rhinestones! Very cool.

Looks like she took the Titus decals off for a more svelte, stealth looking frame. I have two small Titus decals left on the top tube; removed the others since they were mangy looking. I saw a Racer X rider with a "Your Bike Sucks" sticker on the chain stay; don't think I would go that far. I do have a "Does My Bike Make My Butt Look Big?" sticker that might find a home somewhere on the bike.
Will also keep an eye out for the Barbie Tiara. That would be the ultimate.

That Titus looks familiar in an odd kinda way...

My 8YO daughter had hot pink fully rigid, steel, C-Yah Barbie, No-TV Specialized Hot Rock that looked like that Titus. It had 60's style flower decals on it.

What a great idea! My Old beat up hard rock needs some kind of revamping.
