hi folks:

Anyone knows what chainline yields a 2002 prodigy xc square tapered crankset mounted on a 113mm long shimano BB?

Anyone has tested this combination with proper shifting performance on a 9speed shimano drivetrain?

Thanks,

José Luis

They are not compatible. Shimano uses octalink bottom brackets and raceface uses ISIS drive. They look slightly similar but are completely different and completely incompatible. Unless you are refering to the square taper kind but as far as i'm aware prodigy cranks never came in square taper.

Didn't know that. I thought the Prodigy came out after RF had moved over to ISIS completely. In that case a 113mm BB spindle will yield a 50mm chainline on a square taper cranks. 110mm will yield the standard 47mm chainline. In the case of splined BB's which have a deeper insertion depth a 113mm will yield a 47mm chainline and 116mm will give 50mm.
