Im thinking of replacing my old 104 bcd Shimano crankset with a raceface cinch crank, probably the Ride, which also has a 24 mm spindle,
current (BSA threaded) BB is the Enduro brand of the hollowtech 2, still in great shape and easy to service/replace bearings, will the raceface cranks work with that BB?

I had the Ride crankset fitted along with the RF X-Type bb. Liked the crankset and had no issues with it.

The bb was crunchy and developed play in only 12 months. I had a Deore Hollowtech II bb ready to fit and try it out together as a combo but unfortunately I didn't get chance to see for myself.

Don't like the idea of the R.F. Ride crankset having no pre-load adjustment compared to Shimano cranks. I've read a few reports they don't always fit well, as already mentioned.

I reckon any fit issues could be down to a slight overall width difference compared to using Race Face's own bb's. 🤔

Idk for sure but worth a try, if you have any problems an alternative bb might be necessary, maybe (imo) even an overpriced, crappy Race Face version. 😬

I sure hope it works, since I've been running it for almost 2 months now.

Gutted I didn't get the chance to try and see if my HT2 bb would work.

Don't know why this happened and probably a one off. It was fitted on a new bike. In the end I had to cut my cranks off with an angle grinder.... make sure to grease the splines I guess? 😬
