Hey folks! I finally got my new bike dialed in and was able to race the local tt to work out any last minute bugs. Went great and I will say the fork performed beyond my expectations. Overall I'd rate it above my pace due to a smidge more of forgiveness. It's heavier but not significant enough to annoy anyone. I switched out the front tire to a Jones XR 2.2 which also helped in the lower ruts of the course. Can't wait to race it this weekend. Check out more here.

38mm....Hmmm guess they are trying to match the suspension fork geometry.

So with a 72deg HA and a regular 740mm dia wheel = 80mm trail

(vs 74mm for 26" 71HA)

Nice

A smitch more compliant than the Pace? That sounds pretty good. I know the Pace on my '06 Rig is one stiff mofo. Good lookin' fork, I say.

And CreepyFriendly is back! Look forward to hearing more of your adventures.

Fishers don't get 72º HTA's, least trail you'll get from even larger Fishers with the Bontry fork is 84mm. It's a choice.
Does look great though.

agreed. why 38mm? i was told by a builder that a bunch of builders got together to try to get sussy fork manufacturers to build all 29er forks at a 43mm standard. not sure i'd want a 38mm rake fork for rigid or suspension.
