Anyone use a race face tailgate pad on a new (2015 or newer) Ram 1500?

I ask because the top of the tailgate is 9-10 inches wide, unlike traditional/older pickups.

I have a growing bike family and a pad would be more economical than adding 1up trays to my single tray.

I have one on a 2016 Colorado. Not as wide as yours, but seems to do ok on it. Most important thing is to have it set properly front to back. I always have it too deep into the box of the truck. Once I situate it so it's hanging out the back more, it fits much better.
