The 10mm reverse threaded cap on top of the 8mm crank bolt is the self-extractor. Just turn the 8mm bolt counter clockwise and it all should come off. Remember to regrease everything when you re-install.jamisdakar said:

I just took it out for a ride and now it creaks when I pedal under load. Is there a crank puller I can buy for this? I am trying to take this off, but I am not sure how. I am sure there is a crank puller, but I don't know which one to buy. Also what could be causing this creak. This is brand new.
Thanks,:madman:
Put them both back on, then first back out the 8 mm against the 10mm it should "push" the crank off the spline.jamisdakar said:The cranks do not slide off after I removed both 8 and 10mm. It's on there pretty good. Any other way?
