this is from rabbit hill bike park in edmonton...great place really.

i wanted to ride the trails more than film them so there isnt too much from the trails but plenty from the dj park...the vid runs through most of the pics so there is no sense posting them unless requested, in which case i will.

sorry...typo

fun video. it doesnt look like there were many people there. im thinking about checking it out, except for the fact that im still pretty new to the sport and i think ill be eating more dirt than anything!
when filming drops try to stand a bit farther away and use you zoom a bit more....prevents the headless rider problem

BTW good video

did the guy trying the 270 off the last DJ ever make it

DMR
No worries Edmonton Chick,

As 65er and I can attest, it doesn't matter how much you ride, you still eat dirt from time to time. The important thing is to not get anything but your pride hurt in a spill and to get right back on the ride.

ya man, he was a bit camera shy i guess....he bailed evey time i had the camera out

and i relized i should have stood further away but w/e...theres always next time
nice video how easy are the trails there? I'm going to check it out next weekend I think
the trails are great, for edmotnon that is...which isnt saying much...but for 18 bucks (or 15 for under 18 y/o)

all the drops are rollable, but you can clear the bridge on most of them, the berms are fast (cept the fsecond one on the blue run, don tknow if they fixed it though) and most of the trails are easy to stay in control...again there is an exception...this one is the last drop on the blue trail, it gets a bit rought and someone (scott) slams into trees...so watch out

give me a pm if you are for sure headin up and maybe we can hook up
hmmmm easy for beginner? ya il probably pm just need to find out what im doing ya 15$ is pretty good hmmm thanks

ha, the green trail is super fun to bomb down, i highly recomend doing that first as you need to pedal to have fun....its all dirt rollers weaving down the hill...but if you get used to the blue trail, then you can try blue blue black, or blue black black...youll know what im talking about when you get there

and deffinatly send a pm and we can hook up, that is if you think you can keep up:thumbsup:
Thanks for posting up the vid!

Im hoping to head out there this week with a friend of mine. You guys have any idea if they allow unicycles on the hill? Cause I'd never ride my bike anywhere haha, I totally busted it last summer, and I fixed it but it messes up real easy, haha.
are you serious? you'll ride a uni?

thats sick...i think they might, they allow the "extreme skateboards" and bmx's so i guess they would, youd deffiantly have to call

and id deffinatly like to see you ride there, that would be pretty sick
I have a Trials uni... so my wheel is only 20" Diameter. Im looking around at Mountain Unis... which have 24" wheel and extended cranks. I also want a slightly lighter frame, or at least the whole thing to weigh the same as the trails uni.

I'll definetly give a heads up when im going out there. It will be before Friday. So I'll be out this week, someday between (ohh crap... its closed mon/tues isnt it?)... Ok, it will be Wednesday or Thursday.
Is there a good source for pics of these trails? Then I can judge whether or not the riding will be fun. I can do those boardwalk things, but cant drop much more than 4 feet. I can drop a tall picnic table, and maybe a tiny bit more. It also depends how easy the boardwalk things(yeah I dont know the name of those, lmao) are to get onto, like if they go upwards and are more than 4" high at the edge of them, I might have a tough time getting onto them.

I will likely have my buddy comming, but if not, does anyone want to ride with me? I cant fly down the hills at crazy speeds though. Am I at risk of getting run into from behind?
So I'll be going out there Wednesday afternoon. I will post the exact time tuesday night.

So, yeah, just wondering if anyone has pics, and has any idea if im going to get nailed from behind, or is it not too busy there?

Cheers... cant wait to ride there!

If you wanna give me a ride out there i can go with

heres my photo bucket alblum, not many of the drops, but they are all rollable, i can see how you will handle the ladders cause some of them are at crazy inclines...but you can rent a bike for 25 (maybe 35) bucks

youll have to flip through some pages, but they are mostly grand prix pics ad random **** i had to post on here
Hey man,

where abouts do you live in the city? I sent you a PM with my cell number, and more info...

Well, I should be able to handle the stuff out there, Im really interested in doing the trails. I'll definetly be heading out though. I'll probably go out to get there around 2, so anyone else wanting to join, find the guy with the Uni, lmao. I'll wait till about 2:15 before I hit the hill. I still have to call to find out if they will let me on the hill with the uni though, cause im not paying to rent a bike, lol.

Cheers!

Chris
