According to the 2010 website, The Fly is no longer in production....

Rest in Peace, Fly..... The only DH bike that one could pedal back up the
hill.....

I'm thinking of putting a 7" fork on my FXR. Would like the slacker angles - and the added travel wouldn't hurt, either!
The 2010 FXR has 6.5" or rear travel, as opposed to the meager 6" of your '09.....
but I'd agree, a 7" fork would be more DH... But never like a Fly! :D

The 2009 model is 6.5" travel, you communist!
A buddy of mine finished Top 10 in his class in the Downieville XC race on a Fly. 8 mile / 3000 foot climb at the start and everything. That was pretty bad ass :)

I stand corrected, but I am a red, not a commie....lol

XC on a Fly at Downieville is crazy, finishing top 10 is ubercrazy!
2008 is 6'5'' too is it not?

I think the FXR with 150mm rear hub is getting fairly close to the FLY but then again maybe that encourages people to use the new FXR for DH, which it's not designed for. ..
foes fly

I was talking to Foes and they said that you could still special order a fly from them, they are not making alot though!
