Im going to be building a wheel.

Im using a Mavic M121 rim
Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub
DT 14 guage spokes.

Now, spocalc (http://www.damonrinard.com/spocalc.htm) says I need 257.5mm spokes for a 3 cross wheel. 3 Cross is the usual right, as in 3 cross is the strongest im going to get?

Also, I used DTs spoke calculator and got a 258.5mm spokes, should I go with a 257mm spoke or a 259mm? How exact does this have to be? I would guess that I could use a 259 and be fine, just a little long. Hell, its 2mm.

Does everything sound right?

3 cross is generally best for a 32 hole wheelset. You can do higher crosses for higher spoke count wheels. I'd go with the shorter spoke. If you use longer spokes than called for, you end up with threads protruding out of the back side of the nipple, and you want all the spoke threads engaged in the nipple for the strongest wheel.
