Just to clarify I'm a real beginner at this sort of stuff revolving around hubs and wheels and related. Now, I want to get a new rim for my Trek Marlin 5, to allow for a cassette (as opposed to free wheel) on it. I was looking at this one, (https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/novatec-d462-on-wtb-i19-rear-wheel/rp-prod187664)
and noticed that the axel was 148mm long (I think the one in my current wheel is 135) and that it's not quick release. Is this wheel able to get onto my bike at all or do I have to look elsewhere, thanks for the help.
