Getting to separate yourself from the newbies riding their blurs, however nice blurs might be... you've seen it all, you've done it all, and no snot nosed punk ass kid with a trust fund is going to upstage you. You have EXPERIENCE. And then everyone finds out about this one little thing you do or have, and you have to explain yourself. Nobody likes that.
