Question for the mods ...Is this a good idea?

I want to start a thread of serial numbers. So that way everyone can have there numbers of all there bikes on the internet in case the worst happens like it gets ripped off and stripped for parts at least the frame can somehow be recovered most of the time. Just a thought , at least they would be set in stone in case someone lost there number. I know there are some really expensive bikes out there and I figured this could really help.

No offense but that sounds like a bad idea. Just email it to yourself and save it.

Or pay the dollar or so and do it officially :thumbsup:
