I am about to build a new wheelset for my Pivot mach4 (a pretty stiff frame)
First i was thinking og using DT 4.2 rims with CX-Ray spokes and alu nipples.
but now im thinking i could build a stiffer wheelset using stan's Arch and DT
Supercomp spokes?

Will the supercomp spokes be stiffer than the CX-Ray spokes?

I don't think so. I believe CX-ray spokes will yield a stiffer wheel, all other things being equal. I would choose the Arch w/ the Sapim CX-rays

Stan does not recommend CX-rays for their lower lateral stiffnes, at little for his rims. He is a wheelbuilder, it is cost to beleive.
More, CX-rays work at higher tension than stan's rims allowed. It is a main "against"
I have two pivots and notubes wheels too.
Use supercomps

I decided to go with

DT 4.2 rims.
To keep cost down i wont use CX-Ray spokes!
But im thinking that i could use DT Comp spokes on the rear drive side
and DT Revolution on the rear disc side.
On the front wheel i would use Comp spokes on the disc side and Revolution on the non-disc side.
What do you think??
I weigh 190 all geared up.
or should i just go Comp spokes all over??

Go Comps all the way around, the small weight savings that you will get by going with SuperComps or a mix of Comps and Revolutions is not worth in in my opinion. Comps will give you a stiffer better rolling and handling wheel.
