hello-

I'm in the process of switching to disc brakes and I'm wondering if the 03 or 04 american
classic rear hub shown here can be used with disc brakes with a adapter?

I've seen other am classics advertised with removable disc brake adapters, so......

If so then where would i find one online?

I'm not certain, but i don't think you can. As far as i know, the 2005 + Am classic hubs use the adaptor. All others were either 'made as' Disc, or Rim brakes...

looks like I will be shopping for a new light weight disc specific wheelset.
