Hey I am getting into this Centurion Elevator mtb frame. The serial is SJ900983 I think…. Do you think this bike was made in Japan? It is made of Tange Chromo.

Possibly. You should post a picture, it would help with identification. I found an example, they too claim Germany. The RetroBike site is pretty reliable

To be honest the frame looks 100% like the one in the link you posted, Neon green and everything. But do you think it is made in Germany and not taiwan? Here’s a few serial number pictures.

Any further searches I do are hampered by the fact that every site regarding this bike, except for the one I linked above, are in german. Deduce what you will from that
