Recently I installed some tripple clamp forks on my Specialized rockhopper 02 model and this has increased the head angle alot. I am wondering whether this is a risk or whether my frame will handle it?
XC frame/ bike and a DC fork = mismatch. That fork is really out of place on that bike. I wouldn't even consider that Jr T on anything but a big hit. The fork defeats the purpose of the FSR, turns the steering to mush and definitly adds the possibility of head tube ovalization and breakage.
Specialized says tripleclamp forks on any of its xc bikes voids the warranty. I assume that their stance on this indicates that a tripleclamp on that frame is definitely going to destroy it.

You better take that off right away. Not a good idea, its probably worse than drilling holes in you crankarms to save weight. My friend (posts as FRguy) had a KHS b*tch which was a single crown DJ/FR bike. He put his Super T on it It worked well for him because he ended up having to get a new bike, an Intense M1.
