pretty sure the headtube on those is a ZS44 headtube, which means you can in theory run an EC44 cup and your tapered fork, but it'll raise the headtube about 10mm. You are, in theory, better off with the ZS setup, but tapered is so much stiffer. If you can deal with a half degree slacker headtube, you'll be OK, I think.
My uncle runs a scale with a 115 fork (which raises the ht about the same amoint) and he absolutely loves it. So the slight slackening might be a welcome change.
