I'd like to install a Blackspire XC Chainguard on my Kona. The chainguard is a 4-bolt 44t one, and my chainring setup is 4-bolt 42/32/22. It's designed to protect the biggest ring, rather than replace it - Would it fit?

Thanks in advance for any help. If anyone knows any other chainguards that go over the big ring instead of replacing it I'd be grateful for info or a link etc.

i didn't look at your link, but i would think so. if it's just another ring that goes on the outside of the large ring, the 44t is the largest that it will protect, so you should be fine with a 42. Salsa among a few others make guards as well. I had a Salsa brand one on my xc bike with a 22-32-42 as well. my local bike shop carried them.
