How is flipping a shock upside down going to make for a nicer ride?
On a race sled you want the heavy part (resy/body side) up near the motor and the shaft side down by the skis - that provides a better ride since the skis can react faster with less unsprung weight and it is noticable. On a bike... not so much but you usually want the opposite - shock weight as low as possible to lower the bikes center of gravity. Diff won't be noticable for air shocks but could be for heavy coil-overs.

Have FUN!
