Park, eat your heart out. :)

1. Remove tire and tube, mount on truing stand.
2. Put a piece of masking tape on hub barrel.
3. Set your calipers for half the width of your rim, lock caliper jaws.
4. Stretch a piece of thread around both sides of your rim so that they cross the hub without touching any spokes and are held tightly against the sides of rim.
5. Place caliper jaws on one of the threads crossing the hub so that the end is at the midpoint between the threads, mark this spot. That is the current centerline.
6. Send me the $15 you saved on buying a dishiing tool.

1. Take your Park dishing tool and set it up against rim.
2. Adjust pointer to locknut.
3. Flip wheel over and take reading on other side.

Besides a good set of calipers costs between $25 to over $100 bucks.
