A slightly higher rise handlebar might help a little.
Ditching the gears and running single speed will drop a little weight.
Nothing you do to your bike will make much of a difference though, the main thing is practice.

i can bunny hop good, and i practice manualling alot, its slowlycoming too me.
I wanna change too single speed but i do alot of hiking. Theres alot of hills in my area.

I ride trails as well singlespeed, it just teaches you to carry momentum better, plenty doable and it will lighten up your ride.

yeah, I have no problem getting around SS, actualy there is a sub-forum dedicated to SS xc.
