I feel the old UGI coming upon me. I ride a Spot with a Pushed AVA. How do these shocks compare?

I second that!ayce said:Pushed RP3 no question
Yeah that could be the new shock of shocks.. i think most ppl will have a small problem with the 800.00$ price tag with the ti spring & 6 something with the steel spring.SCUBAPRO said:I second that!
But if you really want a new shock, check out the Cane Creek Double Barrel ( click here). They custom buld it for you and your bike.

If Bmark's AVA was pushed recently then it should have the same Vx piston. In that case, you are correct that the only difference would be the PP adjustability--more of a lateral move.bikerx40 said:Help me out here. Bicyclemark says he's riding a Pushed AVA. Doesn't Darren use the same Vx piston/zero-bleed bolt, etc. in both Pushed shocks? Then why would a Pushed RP3 be any better than the Pushed AVA, other than the Propedal adjustability? Sounds like a lateral move to me.
Assuming they are the same Pushed internals, I think that I'd rather have the air volume adjustability of the Pushed AVA.
True: It's $650 with Steel Spring and $850 with Ti.ayce said:Yeah that could be the new shock of shocks.. i think most ppl will have a small problem with the 800.00$ price tag with the ti spring & 6 something with the steel spring.
