If money were not an option which would be better?

The AVA is a Float R AVA with Propedal. came stock on the Turner 5spot frame.

I know with the ava sleeve all the way out it has the same spring curve as an RP3, and about 100grams heavier.

If $ is not a consideration then get a PUSH'd RP3.
Between stock RP3 & PUSH'd AVA, go PUSH'd AVA.
I've run all of the above combos on my Hammerhead and the PUSH'd shock wins.
Better at square edged hits, more controlled rebound & small bump sensitivity.

Of course I agree with Squeak. I would put your options in this order of preference...

PUSH RP3
PUSH 05 Float R
PUSH AVA (basically same performance as the 05 Float but ranked lower becasue of weight)
RP3
05 Float R
AVA

Also, the RP3 is pretty pricey. A good alternative might be the PUSH 05 Float R which should cost about the same as a stock RP3. The only thing you're giving up is the ProPedal adjustment. I would rather have one good custom tuned setting on the PUSH R, than the 3 factory set options on the RP3. I also remember some awkward fit issues with the RP3 on the older Spots but check the Turner board for more on that.

Thanks Bros

for the helpful responses.

For now, I think it would be a good idea to try the Push mods on the AVA for a performance comparison before spending more money on a new shock.

I sure hope to notice the difference...
