They have different layouts to fit into different frames, because some frames may have less space, or a different orientation of the shock etc. Internals are the same.What is the different in these styles?![]()

The bottom one is the newest design, and there have been some changes.
But probably would not notice much difference on the trail.

The bottom one isn't newer it's just a regular 11.6r. The top one is a trunnion mount variation of the same shock for bikes that need a trunnion style shock. They also make another similar style to the top one but not trunnion for frames that don't fit the style at the bottom. They also make a stronger steel shaft for ebike variants. But all shocks work the same internally and are just variations of the same thing depending on frame fit.
