I'm sooo tired of wrestling with a schraeder pump armed with an unweildy adaptor, trying to put air into a skinny presta valve without breaking or bending it. Surely, there must be a pump whose sole purpose in life is to mate with a presta and ONLY a presta. Primarily, I need a mini, but may splurge for a floor pump as well if I'm inspired.

I do not know of any decent bike pumps that do not have purpose-made presta heads.

Get the floor pump, too. It will make your life easier and save your valve stems. Mini pumps are not for everyday use.

I've been using the

I've been using the Mt. Zephal Graph Mini for quite some time. It does have some kind of adaptor that you pull out and turn around, but it's too "rube goldberg" for me. And you end up with several inches between the rim and the pump (or so it seems). I ended up using the little brass fitting adaptor from the LBS, cussing each and every time. More and more I'm liking the idea of a floor pump for home. I also like the idea of a frame mount that folds out into a quasi-floor pump.

That is the way most of them work and it works just fine. If the pump came setup for presta and you needed to flip the parts around to use for schreader would that be too "rube goldberg" ? I have never had an issue.

The Crank Bros pumps do have two heads and work well.
