Just took the Pug our after putting it back together. I had the purple stripped and a new "Jeep Green" powder coat applied. I thought this type of green was perfect for the Pug.

I do think the color fits well! Nothing against the purple, but there sure are alot of purple pugs floating around

Here are some more pics. The color is the closest Spectrum could come to Jeep's "Rescue Green Metallic" It's kind of a pearl/metallic green that changes hue in different light. Here are a few more pics. It's overcast today, so it looks a little dull under the clouds. Also, notice the lack of canti bosses.:)

WOW! that thoroughly rocks 100%!
i'm jealous beyond!

awesome job!

correct me if i'm wrong... where did the Canti bosses go? aren't they missing? did your frame come san brake bosses?

wow, cuz mine has silly plastic plugs screwed into them...

your's is infinitely cleaner looking

not to mention totally beautiful... wow!

i wonder how a touch of orange, and/or blue would go with it.

i keep envisioning something very much like what you've done... but with maybe an orange field or stripe, with a gold pin stripe on the edge of the orange and green, white lettering looks good.

totally awesome! holy smack!

The canti bosses were removed before the PC (they just cut them off with a grinder). I bet a bit of orange or gold would look great. Thanks for the compliments. Now all I have to do is ride the paint off of this thing. I can't wait for the snow and winter muck, it's almost a crime to get this thing dirty now.

laffs!

i just noticed that the railing on your deck is effectively a Pugsley parking rack!

thats great! perfect fit!
It worked out like that by accident. I just noticed that the moss on the deck is almost a perfect match to the paint . . . crazy.

Lovely colour choice, that looks really great.

A customer of Brixton Cycles here in London had their Pugsley painted day-glo pink, now that was a look!

Damn! I'm green of envy! Too bad my Pug is still purple though... ;)

That's really nice, like the lack of cantis.

if you have a Surly Nice rack, you should be paint the rack in the same
colour.

Fantastic! The lighter colour really accentuates the crazy tube bends.

I actually started liking the purple after 2 years but in the future I can see a white or baby-blue powder-coat on mine.

Powder Coat rules, epsecially if you get the candy-like gloss coat. I have a cheapo 29er flat black frame on the way, and I'm seriously tempted to get it done some nice color, like orange or green.

I rattle-canned my wife's bike, and while it came out looking pretty sweet, I already chipped the paint by dropping an allen wrench on the top tube. The stuff just does not hold up to anything.
