I have what I call my Pug Jr. and I’ve been pretty happy with it. I’ve never really had a chance to spend any time on a real Pug, so I’m wondering how big of a difference I would feel with a real Pug over my Pug Jr..

So, here’s what makes up my Pug Jr.….1x1 frame, a Pug fork, a DMR chain tug to use shifter/derailleur, SS rear hub w/ 3 cogs, 3 chain rings on my crank (manual shift), Large Marge rims, Endomorph front tire, Serfas 3.0 rear tire.

I live in SLC, so we get plenty of snow to play in.

Am I going to notice that big of a difference trying to ride through the snow w/ a 3.7 on the rear as opposed to my 3.0. Thoughts???

Here's an old photo, but you get the idea...

Hugh, giant,

really,really, big!
Oh,um... that didn't come out right:D
I did the same converstion on my 1x1. Then changed to a Pugs. The ride on the Pugs is much..MUCH.. smoother. Someone described it as "balloony". Smooth, cushy, and quite different.
