Nice shots, guys. May you always stay more flexible than your steed! I'm the guy you two chatted with awhile by that old concrete ruin at the Voodoo corner, the one with a 27 gear singlespeed, using one gear at a time. Next time I'll ride that full suspender singlespeed I told you about. . . till then, happy trails up in Denver.
Randy
WOW great photots! The fine silt on your tires remindes of racing moto down there. Looks like a great time! Thxs 4 the photos.
Nice looks like I need to make run down there this weak.
It was nice talking to you Randy!
Hopefully see you at buffalo creek sometime soon, if the snow ever melts!

I thought I had a good one yesterday.Had my GoPro, thought is was on, turned out battery died half way through, no go. That trail was fun as hell!
Is that Lubes in in those pics?

I was out there on 1/10 as well... had fun. Did mostly the long XC trails... Voodoo, Outer limits, etc. Explored some of black diamond trails...

FYI... the naming of the trails is kind of accurate. Steep Tech truly is steep tech. Carried my bike down the thing!
Yup

That's Lubes, he was my tour guide for the day. We rode hooter's and then rode voodoo in both directions and then headed back. Lots of great single track!!
That place looks cool.... anyone up for

....a ride this Saturday, Jan 16? I think the weather is supposed to be decent.

Post here if you are, I can carry my bike plus one/possibly two others (I live on the west side of Co Spgs).

I'm still somewhat nursing a separated shoulder so may have to wuss out on any real gnarly steep stuff, but am definitely up for a good ride!

WTF????? ... whare's the snow???
That's obviously not CO!
That fat slow guy's ruining the scenery!
Wow!!! I'm blown away. Pueblo is lookin' way better than GJ/Fruita. Thanks for the pix.

Pueblo is cool for sure but GJ/Fruita still are way better. I've been to Pueblo 2 times in three weeks. It is sweet but the black trails are kinda short and you are up and down like a ski resort. I will go back at least one more time this winter due to the fact my FC trails are in bad shape right now. But to me GJ/Fruita still are on top!

I should clarify: I meant to say Pueblo is looking way better than GJ/Fruita at the moment. Here's a current pic copied from the western slope forum

I've never ridden Pueblo trails. I plan to correct that real soon. Anyone that can get away on a weekday let me know.

There are a lot of alternative lines in most of the canyons, which can be missed if you are flying Mach speeds through the canyons. Taking your time and playing in the canyons will turn up some extra entertainment. And of course, ride up as many canyons as possible. I go down there 1-2 times a week through the winter (for the last couple of years), and it can a bit redundant, so I mix it up as much as possible. Any dabs mean you have to re-do the canyon! GJ/Fruita is currently snowed in, and is certainly a wicked long drive for a day ride.
video of pueblo trails...

sorry - no hooters canyon tho:
