Yea, that part is not so good but a couple of years ago I was in the same shoes, so to speak. I shattered my ankle and after a bunch of surgeries and whatnot I was ready for a pegleg!
Have some friends who are amputees and my doctor thought it would be good for me to hear how much trouble it is, to discourage me, etc. Well my friends are the wrong guys for that. They are back MXing, rock climbing and mtn biking.

Here is the video from the Jam on Sunday: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/184042/

The loader is supposedly coming back again this Thursday to help us finish alot of the other lines, we will then be working to burn them in. We need tons of people to come help us ride and water them in. Jumps, rollers, and pumptracks in Colorado only hold their form and are durable if they are watered, packed and ridden like crazy, otherwise they fall apart. You have to pack every surface (face, top, and sides) or it will crumble. You will certainly see that attention once Valmont opens, you see that at Rhyolite as well. So please feel free to come help us ride these jumps, rollers, and tables in next weekend.
