hey guys

i saw cedric's prophet at the RB district ride, and fell in love. the prophet with a 66 is the ****! so i was wondering if it were theoretically possible to put a 66sl (150-170 adjustable) on a prophet frame. Due to the height in the front, i thik i'd have to keep it on the XC setting, right? As a result of that, could i get a new rear shock with a 2.25 stroke because of the XC setting, or would I still have the tire leave marks on my frame? thanks for the help guys.

Gracia's Prophet was a 4x prophet, with the thru-12 swingarm and a gusseted front end. It is different than the trailbike Prophets.

A shock with a 2.25" stroke does not work, at least not the DHX Air. That has been tried already.

I am sure you can fit the 66 up front, as the 4x for 06 has the 36.
You should also note that the cable/crown clearance is very slim, but still works if your headset is tall enough. The 66 is still a tall fork, so before you jump the gun, take a look at pikes and 36s before you buy, although I must say I'd love to see more prophets with a 66 out front too. :)
