Hello forum. Does anyone know the proper length for a fork steerer on an '06 kikapu deluxe frame? My unscientific measurement shows about 8 inches. I'd like to get a replacement fork and might look into a used one, and, if so, don't want to get one cut down too much. Thanks for any info...Dave

It depends on the frame size, head tube length varies. Just buy a new fork online somewhere. One of my buddies got a 06 Fox Vanilla R for $260 from Jenson which is pretty much dealer cost and a steal.

Steerer tube length= thickness of spacers for proper stem height/position + height of stem + length of headtube + stack height of headset.

If I were to buy a used fork, I'd add about a half inch "fudge factor" in for good measure.
