Propack and tools

I need to do some winter maintenance on my 07 Superlight. Was going to pick up the propack from SC. The problem I'm having is the "specialty" tools cost more then the propack itself. Are they required for bearing removal and installation? Any other tricks or tips here? It bugs me to spend the money on tools you use once or twice, but if I need them I'll buckle down.

Thoughts?

You could take it to a shop, they would probably have the bearing presses. Or you could just open up the bearing while its in the frame(remove the plastic dust cover) and pack new grease in, unless the bearings are shot then they would need replacement.
