Hi,
I saw the followiing statement in the description of the P321 Lefty Adaptor:

"Two versions. One for stack heights of 5.675" - 6.125", and one for stack heights of 5.3" - 5.75". Also available in black or silver. Specify color and size at checkout time."

What is the difference?
I am totally confused. The stack height (or distance between the clamps) is a totally adjustable by sliding the top clamp up and down on the steerer so why are there two versions now? Are the steerer tubes butted or something like that?

i would ask jake at project 321 as he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Also Mendoncyclesmith is pretty darn good at this too, plus there are a few threads on the cannondale forum. hope this helps.

I think that the issue is stack heights that are too tall to fit within the max movement of the clamps rather than the opposite. Several discussions of "what to do if my clamps won't fit over my stack" have occurred, and usually you go with low height HS or IIRC Mendon actually trimmed HT or HS or both to fit.

Having a clampset with offsets to give more room would be a good seller. L and XL frames tend to have tall HTs. Chris King HSs are way tall. YMMV.
