standard size

That is a pretty standard spring. You can get a fox or manitou spring that will work.

Fox springs are a tiny bit smaller ID. They'll go on a 5th E body and probably work, but Manitou springs are the exact match.
Progressive really bailed? I missed that. I recall when folks said they did, but then they didn't. Hrmm.
What happened to "we're gonna supply parts and service for 3 more years"? What a stand-up company.

Thanks TNC an' th' rest of youse guyz.
TNC, do you know if the spring rates will be the same, i.e. 425lb Prog = 425lb Mant.??? We were wondering that at th' LBS yesterday.

Thankz, Looks like I'm gonna hafta. Do the spring rates :skep: feel the same, (see my other reply)?
I'm likin' th' black spring already.

spring rates are a standard thing. the spring rate is how much weight it takes to compress the spring one inch, off the bike.
My LBS got me a Progressive spring a month or so ago...ordered it from QBP or BTI I suspect.....
Last month I sent my shock in for a rebuild and for replacement of a few parts. had no problems at all. :)
LBS gonna order a Manitou 450lb spring Mon. Thanks for th' help.
Progressive's site doesn't :nono: have any info on mtnb shocks any more. I guess if I contacted them they :skep: might do some work on it or have a spring laying around.
Marzocchi told my LBS for a ROCO shock you would have to get any spring other than stock from someone else. :smallviolin: Zokie will not supply different springs for them, supwidat???
 Shock peepahs be all :eek:ut: trippin'n'stuff.

Thankz for th' help guys.

the roco just hit the market...they don't have extra springs (or other parts for that matter) laying around...they don't have back stock built up yet. but, like all things marzocchi, improvements and mods will be based on the same chassis, so eventually parts and upgrades will be available.
