i just recently replaced my avid elixir cr brake set...i bought it sept of last year and i usually ride trails with MINIMAL downhill riding.i replaced it with hope m4's becuase i got disappointed with the avids.anyway,initially i paid no attention to the avid priblem but when i went to an LBS she mentioned that avid brakes,elixir cr specifically had troubles same to mine.(my avid internalhas o-ring issues that they had already replaced twice with no luck).just want to know if any avid elixir users there that are having trouble with their brakes

Ya, i have had sticking/ rubbing pistons and warrantied the calipers already, still had issues so now they are going to upgrade me from 5's to the 2011 cr's. Owner of the shop told me the guy at avid said they had several issues that they are fixing in the 2011 model including a bore spacing issue which causes sticking.

my avid Elixir cr sucks!!!!!just got it back from the dealer and i still have the same problem!!!i am switching to hope!!!!F--K!!!!
