Hi all,

i got a problem with my fork. Its a Manitou r7 comp from 2006. i disassebled it and changed the oil in both legs by removing the outer leg and up to this poit all is good. but when im about to fasten the 11mm screw on the down side of the left leg i cant tighten it properly??? if i get som air in the fork i can tighten it some but the piston still spins inside the leg... have i done someting wrong or is the screw intended to be thos loose?:madman:

How much air are you putting in before you try to tighten the bolt? I use 90psi. If you don't overcome the negative spring and hold that whole assembly still with enough pressure, that thing will spin and spin.

ok thank you, as i thougt then.

i notised that i needed to get some air in the leg to be able to fasten it.

I had an skareb before and it didnt have the same solution for the piston.
