I have dealt with most of those listed in 2008 and each has good points that are outweighed by bad. If by nominate you mean list one shop that has had good shipping, service and prices in 2008 so far, I dont nominate anyone.

-1 for cambria for terrible customer service
-1 for speedgoat for a "holier than thou" attitude and expensive shipping

Others to consider:
starbike
bike24
totalcycling
gottaridebikes
lacemine

#1. competitive cyclist.
---- although not the cheapest they are fast, usually have stuff in stock, and know their biz.

#2. universal
---- a bit slow getting stuff out the door but a great selection and good prices

***definitely NOT colorado cyclist... they have some serious boneheads there and cust service is poor.

Jenson for having its shipping to Canada sorted out.

Through customs and to my doorstep within 3 days, without brokerage fees! I get charged for the shipping fees and they have figured out that shipping it by air saves me more on brokerage fees that it costs.

Rant On
The worst is seeing that damb brown UPS truck show up at your door! They be great within the US, but to Canada they SUCK! Last night I had a warrenty replacement shipped to me so I wasn't in control of the shipper. They sent it via UPS and it cost me $65 even though there wasn't any duty owing :madman: . If you ship by UPS air its about $20 more and includes the brokerage, so I don't know where they get off with the $65 :nono: Ground UPS just sticks it to the receiver. You've already paid for the shipping so its not worth refusing it. I hate it when shippers don't follow your shipping instructions. I'm really tempting to make it clear that if they don't I'm not accepting the charges and they can reship it at their expense.
Rant Off

Universal Cycles gets my vote. Agree about the slow to ship, still faster than my LBS and much better selection/price/advice. Be sure to use the VIP10 and VIP15 coupons, you don't really need to be a returning customer, 1st customers get it too. Call 'em and ask for the discount if don't get it on-line:

For 10% off orders over $100.00, use coupon code vip10
For 15% off orders over $300.00, use coupon code vip15
