Hey all,

With so many threads that get posted when people have bad service with an online shop or their LBS - I thought I give some props to Jenson for the service that I just received from them in regard to a return/exchange.

My mother bought me the Marzocchi MX 120 fork as a gift. Problem was, it's too long for my frame. So, I called Jenson and asked if I could exchange it for the MX Pro 105 and put the difference on my credit card. Then I asked if they would price match the MX Pro because Wheel World has it for $249 and Jenson has it listed for $260. Then, I wanted to change the shipping address to my office (I decided this after reading someone's thread about FedEx leaving their stuff on the porch and it disappearing). I realize that this is a pretty simple exchange, but with the way most companies go about their customer service nowadays, I always just expect to be treated like sh*t when I need to do a return. Rudi at Jenson was great and totally hooked me up with everything I asked for.

Thanks Rudi and Jenson!

They always ship fast (even here to Germany). They actually got my SS frame shipped the same day I ordered.

Gotta love good CS! :)

Cheers,
Cris

Jenson has not done me wrong once either. They've always come through on each of my orders without a hitch.

That thing about Fedex leaving things out in the open is true. I came home yestereday to see a strange package in my driveway, lo and behold it was my new Pike. It was laying there in the open, what's worse is it looks like they tossed it over my fence onto the driveway(the gate was left unlocked).

I LOVE Jenson and they never give me anything less than superb service.

They always ship fast and give great prices. They even bend their price matching rules sometimes and match prices from companies that don't even have the item in stock.

Jenson is by far the best "big box" e-tailer out there.

I love some of the online bike shops like Red Barn Cycles but Jenson never ceises to amaze me.

They are a great company and responsive. And I've never been turned down for a price match. Their prices are often cheaper than the best Ebay price. You really can't go wrong ordering from them. They're also the only shop that will custom build wheels free. You just have to buy all the parts from them.

Jenson is phenomenal. It is especially good for me because I live near them so ground shipping gets to me the next day if I order before like 3:00. The delivery is kind of dependent upon your FedEx guy. The guy who delivers stuff to me is really cool and always super concerned that I get everything alright.

Anyway, I can't say enough good stuff about Jenson, great prices, great customer service, fast shipping. Professional outfit!

I think they may have the friendliest...

...most courteous and professional customer reps. in the mail-order bike business in addition to great prices. I just had to call them back yesterday after I gave them an old CC number.

I really get turned off when I call a place to place an order or fix an order problem and they're not knowledgeable, they're apathetic or they're snippy, rushed or even downright rude. I have been sticking with companies like Jenson and other companies with good reps. and service over other places that sometimes have great sale prices but marginal or bad service.

Jenson rocks though I do order most of my stuff from Fullcycles now. Let me tell you what they did though. I wanted an ASR-SL frame in 2004 and they had one left but had it marked at 1,099 by mistake. So I called and they said they would honor that price. However, they sent me a 575 frame, So I called again and they sent the ASR-SL out and told me I could keep the 575 frame as well- for $999 for all the trouble they had caused, if I wanted it.

So, I sold it for $999 to a buddy who wanted one bad but couldn't afford it at the time- payment plan. So I got my ASR-SL for $1,099 and my buddy got his 575 for $999. Other than that, they have been dead on and very quick with everything- no games either. They are great to deal with :D

I'll second that, they ship faster than any other outfit, and will ship all your items that are in stock right away, no extra shipping!!

Customer service is not what happens when you put in a simple order and then get the products as you expect. A merchant should not get rave reviews if that's the only thing they're good at.

Customer service is really about how the organization handles the situation when things get messed up and problems occur, or when you find a better deal elsewhere, and basically any time you need to have a real human "make things right" (not some droid quoting you rules). From that point of view, JensonUSA has hands-down been one of the best merchants I've ever dealt with, period.

You should definitely support the small guy, like Chad @ Red Barn (great gentleman), but when you need the power of a "big" retailer, JensonUSA should be at the top of your list.

Fast

I ordered some M545 pedals from Jenson this past Friday 12/23 @ 09:00 in the Morning. With standard shipping, the package was on my doorstep @ 10:00 Saturday (the next day!) I'm relatively close (Los Angeles) but keep in mind this was the big holiday weekend and turn around time was 24 hours!

I use them for 99% of my online bike stuff buys mainly for this reason. Not to mention price matching and their general low prices are great too.

Great cust service

I just ordered a complete XO drive train and Avid disk brake setup from Jenson, but when I did I also forgot to order my grips, ODI Locks. Well I called the next day and asked if they had shipped my order yet, (dumb question) of course they had. Well I asked if they could do anything for me shipping cost wise, and they said we could give you half off shipping. Cool that was way more than I expected, and mind you that they had just priced matched the grip too! The grips came in one day after my first order, I looked at the order form and noticed they didnt give me half off on the shipping, but gave me FREE SHIPPING :D Jenson rocks!!!
