I am looking at a new 5 Spot frame and am wondering how you determine whether it is powdercoated or anodized. It is mat black and has the new Turner stickers. Any help would be appreciated!

Sound's to me you are looking at a ano frame. Powder black will have a gloss finish.

If it is matte, it is ano. All Turner PC finishes are shiny.

A friend recently got a PC spot with the new stickers so it comes down to the look of the finish to tell the difference.

Powdercoat looks like a thick paint finish, shiny and smooth. The Ano is a sort of shiny, rough, metallic finish. I recently picked up a med. 5 Spot in silver Ano, and yes it is beaut!

Just to clarify, that's not a stock color. Turner did it for me on my DHR, and I had this one done on my RFX.
