There is a video of a frame getting powder coated from start to finsh. Very educational. I hear these guys do great work, they are more $$ than olympic but appear to offer lots of options. Anyone had a frame done by these guys?

Also, is powder toxic? Shouldn't that guy wear some kind of a respirator? What about his hands, does that stuff wash off easily?

I was under the impression that powder is just that. It sticks to the frame with a static charge, and then has to be baked in order for it to stick to the frame more permanently. In the vid, you can see him brushing off excess powder from the head tube before he puts it in the oven. Also, it looks like they have a pretty strong draft fan, as the extra powder is being pulled to the back of the booth. I would think a mask might not be a bad idea, but I guess it's his lungs

That porche is a fine example of why you don't powder cars. That door and front quarter panel needs a lot more body work to look good.
