Can anybody offer any advice as I have been told that the process can affect the integrity of the heat treated welding on the gussets?

I'm a powder coater, and the only bicycle frame alloy that I'm aware of that can be affected by PC oven temps is Easton Scandium. Do you know what alloy yours is? I can look into it for you.
I do believe Hecklers are made of 6061 T6 alloy (at least the older ones were)
well i just presume it 6000 series alu? It a 2008 Heckler.
Yeah, just scandium is a problem and a Heckler isn't scandium.
You should be good to go! Most heat treatments are performed at higher temperatures than PC temps. Scandium just happens to be an exception.
