Potential headset problem...

Im getting a Fox f29 fork for my Caffiene 29er frame. I think I can get away with 100mm with a flush reducer headset like the Cane Creek XX thus making the a/c right around 502ish mm, frame is maxed out at 500mm. Upon searching headset threads it seams that next to nothing works on a Cannondale headtube, more specialized than Specialized. If I do find something that works will I have a problem with the fork crowns hitting the frame when I turn the wheel hard right or left? Thanks for any help.:)

I am currently handling a similar problem. Use a headtube reducer (4mm), a chris king lower (13.7 mm), a +5mm crown race, to get 22.7 mm of lower stack height to have enough clearance for a F100X on my wife's Furio frame. Current Fox has lever. You definitely need another fork or a lefty.
So it appears that Cane Creek makes standard 1.5 and a Cannondale 1.5 headset. Seen some threads on other sites saying that the Double XC works without a hitch. My remaining question is will fork crowns hit the frame while turning or not? Saw a picture of the 29er 4 and it looks to me that it has a flush headset at the bottom and top.

The fork Im looking at has a 44mm offset, not sure what year your fork is but is it possible the offset is less causing it to hit?
Canecreek 1.5 is 1.5 and should fit recent Cannondale.

Slip your fork into the frame and see how they fit before buying the headset. If the flush one causes hitting problem, put a 10 mm space into the Fox and use a normal 2X 1.5.

My problem is due to the frame, my wife is a petit size. I think Fox upper crown dimensions are the same in recent years.
It depends on the frame. If it has(or was designed for) the press in SI headset cups then it can take 1.5 standard headsets, although I believe you may need something with a fairly short insertion depth. Some Cannondale frames were designed for a headset with fairly short (c. 10 mm) insertion into the frame, and some 1.5 headsets are designed for deeper insertion into the frame. the double xc was made in several sizes for this reason - a standard 20 mm deep, and a "short" 10mm deep headset. The double xc flush was 20mm deep but it looks like the new one on their website is shorter so that may be ok. If it comes with the integrated headset, then there is a reducer headset you can buy from cannondale. As far as frame clearance, I don't know. Offset is measured at the dropouts, so it doesn't really tell you anything. Maybe you can find someone who has used the same frame/fork combo?

Thanks for posting guys. Cane Creek said the XX flush will definetley fit. As far as fork crown clearance I dont know yet, may just have to take a chance.
