Awesome build!!

Nice build....did you get it specially polished, as I don't think SC offers polish as a frame option any more for the chameleon? What size is the frame? Did you sell your old one yet?

I think I got the last (or near last polished). That is a large (fits similar/the same as the 07 and earlier). Still have my old Chameleon, will be putting it in the classifieds this week.

So far the handling is outstanding, the EBB is quiet and solid. Overall rides really well, I mean really really well. Definitely a thumbs up.

BTW, those Formula brakes are freak'n awesome stoppers.

Love this bike...it does it all.
nice.

BTW what tensioner and axle are you using at the rear drop-out? I've been looking to replace the quick release skewer with bolts and add a tensioner to prevent slipping.Right now my rear wheel slips a bit if too much brake is applied to the rear.

Thanks.

Sweet ride...

It look almost exactly like mine. I have a white 07 as well. It seems like you have it more setup on the XC side. How does it ride? Mine is set up for more of a FR feel and I have no problems doing jumps on it but I had it out on the XC trails the other day and it rode, right now it actually weighs more than my Heckler though so I bet it would fly if I lightened her up.

Yes its setup for XC/AM...I have a AM BLT I use for jumping and light FR, so I wanted something I could climb hard on and throw around on the singetrack.

So far this bike rocks; need to put a couple of hundred miles on her and dial her in some more to form a solid opinion, but so far so good.

The frame is so stiff and just feels great under me, I cant believe I wanted this long to buy one. I have had my eye on a lizard for years, just never pulled the trigger.

I plan to race XC on it this up coming season and then slap my 130mm TALAS on her for some fun.

was just looking at the pics, superb builds and really sweet rides you'll have.
would like to check, what specific diff is there between the old n new lizards pls?

thanks
Hydroformed tubing, vertical drop outs, disc only, the seat tube now pierces the top tube, an actual head badge, and some geometry tweaks (you can find those posted somewhere in this thread).
