If I can get my **** together to take photos AND if I can figure out how to post them here, I'll post pix of my FOUR fixed Surlys (Steamroller, Crosscheck, 1x1, and Pacer with after purchase custom horizontal dropouts). Yes, 4. I like Surly, i like fixed gear, what can I say?

Four Surly's

Four Surly's and all fixed. That is a great stable of bikes. I would love to see photos.

I thought it would be cool to look at fixed gear Karate Monkey's and all other fixed gear Surly's. Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the delay! Let's keep this thread rolling!

As for the bike... nothing fancy: 54cm XC, Surly / Salsa rear wheel 17t fixed, old shimano & avid canti's, Ultegra 172.5 cranks w/Salsa 38t, King HS, Answer junk box stem & Midges, Cane Creek brake levers, old post & Selle San Marco saddle. Front wheel's a left over Mavic Cosmos from the road race'in days. Crank Bro's Candy's!

38 x 17

The 38 x 17 gearing is a nice choice. I have been playing around the sheldon brown gear inches calculator trying to come up with a good choice of gearing.
