OK, I'll play

1992 Axis. My first "real" mountain bike. Just finished the initial rebuild tonight. Needs a little tweaking still.

My XTS and a question....

I never have luck posting images, so I'm sure this wont be visible to anyone else, the link is

Just curious, if anyone knows: Is the XTS series comperable in weight to bikes by other manufactures in the same "class" ? I may not have bought mine if I'd known how heavy this mother was beforehand. But, I love it now and wouldn't trade it away...

My 2005 Topanga Comp

is just like the one already posted here but I thought I would put my two cents worth in also . I'm new to the sport ( 6 months ) and this is my first bike so far I'm totaly happy. The only thing I've change so far are the peddles ( Shimano 520's ) and now I'm looking at the SL Super 05 for the end of this year I hope. Now for a question when I tell people I have a Diamond back they look at me like I'm nuts but from the research that I done before I bought my Topanga looking at component selection ,cost and quality I don't see what there issues are ( Topanga's a little heavy is the only issue I can find ) ?
