I have always been a Shimano brake guy but find myself with some Level T’s with a spongy lever. Is it possible to do the same procedure with the SRAM brakes and attach a syringe and fluid to the lever and do the flicking trick to get extra bubbles out? I can’t find mention of it anywhere so want to make sure it’s possible and successful on SRAM brakes.

Thanks!

You can certainly try it. Spongy lever means air in the cylinder, hose, or caliper. Air in the reservoir doesn't affect anything until it get further into the system. The flick trick will get air out of the reservoir and maybe air out of the cylinder so it's worth a try.
