Hey, I went riding to today and took a spill, when I got back up my hayes lever was popped out with the plunger (? looks like a rod with a ball on the end) dangling around. I tried to pop it back in, but the lever just kept swinging out and it never stayed, anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

I have not tryed it that way, but i have never pulled the ball out of the socket from a crash either. You are the 2nd on this year. I have taken them apart for rebuilding but neve to reinsert the push rod ball. If every thing is perfect it might be possible but i belive the fluid will be pushing the piston back & out the master cylinder. The other problem is getting the circlip out then back in, it's quite the chalenge, not extreamly hard just irratating. :)
